Verhalen is a royally bred half brother to 2011 Horse of the Year, Havre De Grace, by super sporthorse sire, Bernardini! He is incredibly athletic, with superb movement and is easy to work with. Verhalen has shown his exciting potential when working through a jump chute. He was easy to ride on the racetrack and has always been a standout in the barn. Verhalen has the eye of an eagle which sets him apart. From his breeding to his scope over fences, he holds all of the potential to be an upper level horse! He is incredibly smart and carries himself with a presence. Verhalen retired from racing sound and has begun training for a second career in eventing.
