Bruce is a tall dark and handsome amateur’s dream horse! He has been thoughtfully started and developed by a professional and kept tuned with weekly training rides while competing from his very first horse show at Starter, through Novice with an adult amateur. He has wins at recognized events at Starter and Novice with no cross country jumping penalties ever at any level. Bruce is uncomplicated to ride, has 3 beautiful gates, consistently scoring him 9’s in his dressage tests. He’s had sub 30 dressage scores at each level, as low as 26.9. Bruce has tons of scope and is a very careful show jumper! He ate up his first 1.00m class at the KHJA FAll Classic at the Kentucky Horse Park and also laid down a beautiful Hunter round when filling a class for a friend. He has schooled T/M cross country and is more than ready to move up to training and be competitive with a rider that has experience at the level. Bruce may or may not have to start putting in an effort at prelim and absolutely has the genuine disposition to become a safe and competitive packer.
But wait, there’s more! Bruce is also a blast to fox hunt and has been tested with pony noses right up his butt! He is great to trail ride alone or in groups and is just an all around reliable horse that is up for anything. He is dreamy to look at and loves being doted on! He is an easy keeper who lives out in a large herd 24/7 in all extreme weather but would love to have a stall and be constantly swooned over. He has no stable vices and has never required any special management needs. He loads, hauls and stables away from home well. Bruce is a true gem and has been an absolute pleasure and privilege to train. He is currently available to be tried and available for a PPE and to be purchased after Hagyard Midsouth Team Challenge on 10/20/24.
