Fast Boat is a true war horse and had quite the exciting racing career! Boat was responsibly retired by his owner and trainer after a successful career earning over $700,000 with his final race in the 2021 Breeder’s Cup Sprint. Boat is as in your pocket as they come and has always been a barn favorite.

Boat has accompanied kids and ponies on a hunter pace, navigated competitive trail courses (occasionally bareback, in a rope halter), and competed in the 2022 RRP TB Makeover in competitive trail. He trail rides quietly and confidently. Though we have not focused on jumping, Boat has also enjoyed popping over the occasional log and would be happy to add jumping to his impressive resume. He has a solid foundation of correct flat work.

Boat has the absolute best personality, quite literally wanting attention all the time, yet he’s polite and respectful and has great manners on the ground. He easily holds his weight and is happy to live in a stall during the day or stay out 24/7 in a large group. 

This would be the perfect horse for a casual rider to fall in love with and he deserves the absolute best of homes. Although Boat is typically a quiet and enjoyable ride, he is not for a beginner as he is still learning to work through tension in higher pressure situations. He would be suitable for a confident and experienced amateur.
