Sanimo

Sanimo is the royally bred son of Smart Strike, out of Sanima (IRE), by Galileo and bred by Dell Ridge Farm. As a coming 3 year old, Sanimo was not showing potential to become the racehorse he was bred to be. But when I galloped him down the stretch at Fairgrounds Racecourse, it was clear to me that his potential was in his incredible 600 mpm gallop, smoooooth as butter! ALL. DAY. LONG. Through each morning gallop I could not escape the fantasy of galloping this horse down to a monstrous cross country jump. When “jogging” (trotting) his extension was jaw dropping. Though immature, his athleticism was limitless. His movement, effortless. Little 2 year old baby “Mo” fueled big dreams day by day. Since the confirmation that Dell Ridge was ready to move him along into a second career, Mo has been THE ONE! He is the one I gave a year off, so that he could grow into himself. He is the one that I save to ride last everyday. He is the one who gives me butterflies at the thought of his future! In theory, Mo will be the one that stays in my barn to take me up the levels. In reality, all horses are for sale. Mo’s price reflects his infinite potential to fulfill the dream. That dream may be mine, but if you like him as much as I do, it may be yours!
Sanimo is well schooled and competing confidently at the Novice level. He is sensitive to aids and his natural balance is evident on the flat. He is bold and brave on cross country, and has an effortless jump in the show jumping ring! Mo  has no history of injuries. He has thick, solid bone and strong feet. He is a pleasure to work with on the ground and has no vices.
